Dr. Maybach grew up in a pack of children in Minnesota, helping any animal she could catch. Before settling into veterinary medicine, she tested out a variety of vocations, from working at a monastery in Europe to hay farming in Colorado.

Dr. Maybach’s formal education was completed at Colorado State University, where she earned her  Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and certificate in veterinary acupuncture in 2009.

Early on, she was involved in several projects in developing countries.  For the last 12 years, she has practiced mixed animal medicine in rural Colorado and Wyoming.

A lot has changed since growing up in Minnesota, but she still works on any animal she can catch.
